Year 2 Netballers Shine In Their First Match

On Monday, our Year 2 netball team had their first-ever match, taking on teams from Milbourne Lodge and Notre Dame. The girls were buzzing with excitement, anticipation, and just a hint of nerves, but they all stepped onto the court ready to give it their best.

Each team played three thrilling matches, and we couldn't have been more impressed with the girls' performance. They demonstrated excellent skills, great communication, and a real sense of teamwork. Passing the ball down the court was a particular highlight, showcasing their growing confidence and understanding of the game.

The atmosphere was electric, and a special thank you goes out to the parents who came to support – your presence made all the difference. After the matches, the girls enjoyed a well-deserved treat of hot chocolate and cookies for match tea, the perfect way to celebrate their hard work.

It was a fantastic first outing for our Year 2 netballers, and we are looking forward to watching them continue to grow and develop throughout the season!
