Year 2 Visit the Tower of London

This week, our Year 2 girls went on an exciting and informative trip to the Tower of London to complement their history topic of castles. The sun was shining brightly as we arrived, and the girls were delighted to be able to explore the crown jewels. We were fascinated to see the collection of jewels used for the coronation of King Charles III as well as the crowns worn by Queen Victoria.

The girls experienced what castle life would have been like through an interactive workshop led by an actor at the Tower of London and they also enjoyed exploring the White Tower, built by William the Conqueror.

Sincere thanks to our parent volunteers, Mrs Karim, Dr Dometakis and Mrs Howells.
