Senior School Results 2023
We are always excited at this time of year to share the results of our Year 6 girls and celebrate their hard work over the last few terms. It has been another incredible year for our girls, who have taken the senior school exams in their stride and achieved an exceptional set of offers to a wide range of top senior schools, with a record-breaking number of scholarships and awards.
Results to be proud of!
As a non-selective, independent prep school, each cohort of Year 6 girls is different, and girls apply to a vast and ever-changing range of senior schools. Our philosophy is simple; that every girl will progress onto the senior school that is right for them. Whether that’s day or boarding, co-educational or single sex, we recognise the individual journeys that our girls are on and support each and every one of them to be able to enjoy and thrive in the next stage of their educational journey.
This year, a cohort of 45 girls will be moving on to 17 top Independent Senior Schools. They have achieved an outstanding total of 131 offers to 23 different schools, an average of almost 3 offers per pupil. On top of this, they have been awarded a staggering 40 Scholarships, Awards and Exhibitions across Academics, Sports, Music, Art, Drama and Dance.
Headmistress, Mrs Sarah Raja notes: We are delighted with the senior school results this year and the girls should all feel very proud of what they have achieved. They have embraced our Rowan Star Qualities and showed true resilience, drive and self-awareness. They have performed extremely well and achieved outstanding results. We are enormously proud of the way that we prepare our girls for the senior schools’ entrance process and in the care and attention that we apply throughout. This is one of the things that makes Rowan Preparatory School so unique.
These results speak for themselves and demonstrate that every girl at Rowan is supported, challenged, and encouraged to be the best that they can be. Our personalised approach to learning and outstanding pastoral care in our happy environment ensures that every girl develops a genuine love of learning. Rowan is a school where girls excel but, above all, it is a school where girls are happy. Rowan girls move on to their chosen senior school ready to enjoy the experiences ahead. The future is exciting for these amazing girls, and we wish them all the very best. We will miss them when they leave us in the summer but know that ‘Once a Rowan girl, always a Rowan girl’.
