Interview an Engineer

This term, all girls from Year 1 to Year 6 are taking part in the Primary Engineers Leaders Award Competition.  A requirement of this project is to learn about engineering and find out what an engineer does, so our curious girls created their own questions and have been interviewing engineers throughout the week. 

The girls have met various types of engineers, such as civil engineers, software engineers and a human factors engineer.  There have been many fascinating questions and all of our visitors have commented on how engaged and faultlessly polite our girls were during the talks. 

Our next step is to identify real life problems and come up with a solution.  For our creative problem solvers, this should be easy!  Thank you to all of the engineers who have helped with this project so far.
