Make £5 Grow

Year 6 have surpassed themselves over the past few weeks, growing their £5 loans into a substantial profit for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Jewellery, candles, tie-dye bandanas, bath bombs, key-rings, pet treats and even slime pots have "flown off the shelves" and all items were in such high demand that the girls even had to take orders for more products. This project has not only developed their business acumen but has enabled the girls to further develop their collaborative and decision-making skills. Having tasted entrepreneurship, many of the girls are now keen to start their own businesses!

Takings from the sales is approaching £2,000 and competition between the Year 6 forms is fierce, each trying to make the most profit for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Later this week we will announce the final monies raised and the winning form. Thank you to the Year 6 parents for their wonderful support behind the scenes and for also attending the Year 6 parents' sales event last week.
