Preschool Sports Day 2021

'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!' was the theme of our Preschool Sports Day this year. The weather was thankfully on our side, the girls were excited, and the parents waited with bated breath for their competitions too!

The girls thoroughly enjoyed demonstrating all the skills they have been practising over the past year. There were beaming smiles on their faces as they ran skilfully around a track carrying a sponge trying not to spill any water (reduce); they saved the planet by throwing and catching a ball; they demonstrated animals of the Amazon rainforest and galloped like Tapirs, balanced like Sloths, crawled like Caimans, rolled like Armadillos on the floor and showed off their balancing skills demonstrating a tree frog pose; they went on a journey to the recycling centre (obstacle race), reused plastic bottles in a skittles game and learnt which foods (coloured bean bags) to put in a compost bin by throwing underarm to gain points for their team.

Congratulations to the Clothes group (Yellow) who worked as a fabulous team coming first overall and to all the other teams for putting on such a splendid display all morning.

Thank you to all the Preschool parents for getting into the spirit of the event and for helping to make your daughter’s first Sports Day such a great success.
